The provider
Dr. Varada’s Skin & Hair Center is a proprietorship of Dr. (Lt Col) Khagendra Varada (Reg. No. 10461, Hyderabad State Medical Council), practising at Plot No 13D/B, Wellington Rd, Vikrampuri Colony, Karkhana, Secunderabad, Telangana 500009.
“The clinic”, “we” and “us” on this page mean that practice. “You” means the patient, or the parent or guardian booking for a patient under 18.
What is offered
Dermatology, trichology and aesthetic consultations with the doctor, in two forms:
- Online video consultation: ₹1,299, paid in advance
- In-person consultation at the clinic: ₹1,499
If an online consultation shows that you need to be examined in person, only the difference of ₹200 is charged for that visit. The fee covers the consultation only. Medicines, tests and procedures are separate, and are quoted in writing after examination and before anything is done.
Fees are shown in Indian rupees. No GST is charged: consultations are healthcare services, which are exempt. The fees published on this website on the day you pay are the fees that apply.
How booking works
- Send your history and photographs on WhatsApp
- Pay the online consultation fee through the payment link the clinic sends; payments are processed by Razorpay
- Choose a date from the open slots; the video link is sent on the same WhatsApp thread
- Take the consultation at the booked time
A slot is held only once it is paid for. You will receive a payment confirmation from Razorpay and a booking confirmation from the clinic.
Not an emergency service
For a rapidly spreading rash with fever, blistering over large areas, or swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, go to a hospital emergency department. Do not wait for a consultation.
What video can and cannot do
Online consultations follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. By booking one you consent to being consulted by video and on WhatsApp.
- The doctor may decide that your condition cannot be assessed safely over video and ask you to come in
- Some medicines cannot legally be prescribed after a video consultation, and will not be
- Procedures, the Wood’s lamp and dermatoscopy need a visit
- You must give accurate history, and photographs taken in daylight, without filters
Cancelling or rescheduling
Cancel 24 hours or more before your slot for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, or if the slot is missed, you get one free reschedule and no refund. If the clinic cancels, you choose a full refund or a new slot. The full rules are on the cancellation and refund policy page.
Outcomes and responsibility
Medicine does not allow any particular result to be promised, and none is. Response to treatment depends on the condition, its duration, the site and how consistently treatment is followed. The information on this website is general and is not a substitute for a consultation.
The clinic’s liability for any consultation is limited to the fee paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
Content, law and changes
The text, diagrams and photographs on this website belong to the clinic and may not be reproduced without permission.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Telangana.

Questions about the terms
Do I pay before or after an online consultation?
Before. Payment is what holds the slot.
What if the doctor says I need to come in?
Only the difference of ₹200 is charged for the visit, not a second full fee.
Are medicines included in the fee?
No. The fee is for the consultation. Medicines, tests and procedures are quoted separately, in writing.
